liverpool-2009-10-track-jacket
Liverpool 2009/10 Track Jacket (S-Mint)

The Liverpool 2009/10 track jacket was produced by Adidas as part of the club’s training and sideline collection for the season. The jacket is predominantly red, with contrasting navy and white detailing running across the upper chest, shoulders and sleeves. It features a full front zip, a stand-up collar and long sleeves, with the Adidas performance logo positioned on the chest and the Liverpool FC crest on the opposite side. The design also incorporates the Carlsberg sponsor branding used by Liverpool during the 2009/10 season. The jacket was part of the wider Adidas range worn around matches and during training rather than being one of Liverpool’s official match shirts. Product references for this model include P06959 and APU002. The 2009/10 Liverpool collection was used during a season in which the club competed in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League.

Liverpool’s 2009/10 campaign ended with a seventh-place finish in the Premier League, meaning the club missed out on Champions League qualification for the following season. Rafael Benítez was manager, while the squad included Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Fernando Torres, Dirk Kuyt and Lucas Leiva. Liverpool entered the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group and reached the semi-finals, where Atlético Madrid eliminated them on away goals after a 2–2 aggregate score. In the League Cup, Liverpool were eliminated by Arsenal in the fourth round after a 2–1 defeat at Anfield. The track jacket therefore belongs to the same Adidas collection worn around these competitions during the 2009/10 season. This example is a Small in Mint condition and carries the Adidas product code P06959.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0926/4057/5824/files/Liverpool_2009_10_Track_Jacket_P06959_front_closed.jpg?v=1790935914
