Washing Instructions

Nothing breaks our hearts quite as much as seeing our beloved football shirts come out of the washing machine with damaged prints or a different colour. To keep your item in optional condition for as long as possible, we highly suggest following our washing instructions carefully.

First of all, we recommend washing your items inside-out by hand at a maximum temperature of 30 °C (86 °F), or otherwise an easy-care or hand wash cycle if available on your machine.

Never should you use bleach or fabric softener/conditioner as these will cause prints and patches to be removed. Furthermore, do not tumble dry, iron or mix colours as these can cause irreversible damage.

We wash all our items ourself beforehand using these instruction, and we therefore cannot be held responsible for any damage done to items after receipt.

How do we wash our shirts? A step-by-step guide:

1. We prepare a basin with cool water and add to it a small amount of gentle laundry detergent, which we then mix together.
2. We turn our item to be washed inside-out, fully submerge it into the water and gentle press to make sure it fully absorbs the water and detergent mix.
3. Once the item is clean, we empty the basin and fill it again with clean, cool water. We submerge the item again, and repeat this step until no detergent remains in the shirt.
4. Avoid wringing the shirt, as this may cause damage. We gently squeeze out excess water, and use a clean towel to absorb most of the water.
5. We take the item and hang it upside-down on a washing line, avoiding folds and wrinkles as much as possible. In case you do not have excess to an outside area, hang the items on a line or over a chair and avoid hanging it on or near a radiator. Similarly, never use a tumble dryer.
