Founded in 1878, Manchester United grew fast and quickly became the biggest in Manchester and surroundings. Manchester United is known for their classic red shirts with white accents. Back in the day, their shirts were manufactured by Nike. They achieved some of their best moments with the American brand as manufacturer. Nowadays Adidas is their football shirt manufacturer, bringing new classic shirts to Old Trafford every single season. Some of the club's most iconic shirts are the 2007/08 home shirt, where they won the Champions League with Cristiano Ronaldo as main man, and the 2019/20 home shirt, worn by Paul Pogba. Today, Manchester United sells the most football shirts out of all English teams. Worldwide they rank in 7th place, just behind Boca Juniors.
