Ajax’s 2020/21 away shirt was introduced with a clear link to the club’s visual history, using a mix of blue tones and a graphic pattern inspired by football shirts from the 1980s and 1990s. Red and white details bring the colours of Ajax into the predominantly blue design, while the three Amsterdam crosses appear on the back of the neck. Adidas produced the shirt under style code FI4790, with AEROREADY technology used throughout the 2020/21 collection.
The shirt was worn during one of the most successful domestic campaigns in recent Ajax history. Under Erik ten Hag, Ajax won the Eredivisie with 88 points from 34 matches, finishing eight points clear of PSV and scoring 102 goals. The club also lifted the KNVB Cup after a 2–1 victory over Vitesse in the final, completing the domestic double. In Europe, Ajax finished third in their Champions League group behind Liverpool and Atalanta before reaching the Europa League quarter-finals, where they were eliminated by Roma. Dušan Tadić led Ajax’s scoring in the Eredivisie with 14 goals and finished the season with 22 goals in all competitions. This shirt is part of the Ajax collection at Football Shirt Paradise, with size small and excellent condition reflecting its current state.
