Ajax 2021/22 Teamgeist Training Shirt

Ajax is known for their white home shirts with a wide, vertical red stripe in the middle. They have also become one of Adidas' biggest clubs where they make shirts for. This training shirt is something different that their classic home shirts. In 2021, Adidas decided to make a modern collection of the popular teamgeist collection, with Ajax being part of it. All Adidas top clubs got a teamgeist training shirt or third shirt. 

In the 2021/22 Eredivisie season, Ajax managed to finish in first place. In a total of 34 games they ended up having 83 points, just 2 more than the 2nd place rivals from Eindhoven. During the season, Ajax scored 98 goals, while only conceding 19, making them one of the best defensive sides in Europe. Their squad was filled with young talent and paired with some older and more experienced players. This was the last full season with Erik ten Hag as manager of the Amsterdam based football club. Key players in this Ajax squad were Antony, Haller and Jurrien Timber. 

This Ajax 2021/22 teamgeist training shirt was unveiled as a streetwear piece. It has a black base with red sleeves and white details. A classic color design, often used by Ajax in the past.
