Atletico Madrid 2018/19 Home Shirt (M-Excellent)

Atletico Madrid has been Spain's 3rd biggest football club for almost their whole history. Prizes, wins and big names playing at the club all indicate they fall short to Spain's ultimate powerhouses. However, Atletico still is a really big name in both domestic competitions and even Europe. For the third time in the club's history, Atletico made it to the final of the Champions League in the 2015/16 season. 2 of those finals were against their neighbors Real Madrid, which they lost. 

The Atletico Madrid 2018/19 home shirt was worn during the Spanish club's 2nd place finish in LaLiga. With Diego Simeone as their manager, they played with a solid disciplinary backline and fast paced counterattacks, resulting in many goals because of their world class attacking players, such as Morata, Diego Costa and Antoine Griezmann. It was the first season with the absence of Fernando Torres as their main striker, a club legend. They won the Europa League in the season prior, but weren't able to win any trophies in the 2018/19 season. 

The Atletico de Madrid 2018/19 home shirt is one of the most popular Atletico Madrid shirts out there. It features the iconic vertical red-and-white stripes with a modern pattern and blue fade at the bottom. The 2018/19 Nike template, used for Nike's top clubs, was the most sold template of the season, with Atletico being one of them. A classic Atletico shirt with modern details and a clean template.
