In the 2022/23 season Atletico Madrid managed to finish in 3rd place, just 1 point behind their rivals Real. They got to a total of 77 points in 38 games, scoring a total of 70 goals and only conceding 33. In the Champions League Atleti got place in a group with Club Brugge, Porto and Bayer Leverkusen. To everyone's surprise they managed to only get 5 points and ended as 4th in their group, which meant they would not even get the chance to play in the Europa League. Key players in this 2022/23 Atletico squad were Antoine Griezmann, Koke and Alvaro Morata. 

The Atletico Madrid 2022/23 home shirt has a unique stripe pattern with the classic red-and-white color combination. The use of the Nike 2022/23 template works out well and the Spain national flag on the back of the shirt completes the shirt. This shirt brought major controversy to the Metropolitano, as parts of their fanbase did not like weird pattern/design. The shirt comes in size small (S) and excellent condition, as the only imperfection is a tiny bobble near the front sponsor and the style code tag on the inside of the shirt is missing.
