FC Barcelona was founded in 1899 by Swiss businessman Joan Gamper and has since won La Liga 27 times, the Copa del Rey 31 times, and the UEFA Champions League five times. The 2014/15 season sits at the absolute top of the club's history. Under first-year coach Luis Enrique, Barça won the treble, collecting LaLiga with 94 points, the Copa del Rey with a 3–1 final win over Athletic Bilbao, and the Champions League with a 3–1 win over Juventus in Berlin. The attacking trio of Messi, Suárez, and Neymar, known as the MSN, scored a combined 122 goals across all competitions that season. It made Barcelona the first club in history to win the treble twice, having previously done it in 2008/09. Messi finished the season as LaLiga's top scorer with 43 goals.
The 2014/15 season was Xavi Hernández's last at the club where he spent his entire professional career up to that point, having joined La Masia at age 11. He made 39 appearances in his final season, recording 8 assists in LaLiga. On 6 June 2015, he came on as a substitute in the 78th minute of the Champions League final against Juventus in Berlin, and when the final whistle blew he lifted the trophy as club captain. It was his 767th and last match for Barcelona, a club record at the time. He left for Al Sadd in Qatar the following summer after 17 seasons in the first team.
This Barcelona 2014/15 home shirt is made by Nike and features bolder, wider vertical stripes in darker tones of red and blue compared to the previous season's shirt. The collar is a relaxed open V-neck in navy blue with the Catalan flag, the Senyera, woven into the inside, the first time the flag had appeared on the front of a Barcelona shirt. The Nike swoosh is gold rather than the usual white, and the word "Barça" is stitched on the back of the neck in Senyera yellow in the club's own font. The shirt is printed with Xavi's name and number 6 on the back. This football shirt comes in size small (S) and excellent condition. There is a small pen mark bottom left of the sponsor. Nike used 610594-411 as style code for this Barca shirt.
