Chelsea 2011/12 Home Shirt Fernando Torres

The Chelsea 2011/12 home shirt belongs to the season in which the club secured its first UEFA Champions League title. The royal blue Adidas shirt was produced under the style code V13927, with Samsung as the main sponsor and the traditional Chelsea crest on the chest. It was worn throughout a campaign that ended with Chelsea lifting both the FA Cup and Champions League, making this one of the most significant shirts from the club’s early-2010s period.

Chelsea finished sixth in the Premier League with 64 points, but their cup campaigns produced the defining moments of the season. They defeated Liverpool 2–1 in the FA Cup final at Wembley, before facing Bayern Munich in the Champions League final. After a 1–1 draw in Munich, Chelsea won the final 4–3 on penalties, with Didier Drogba scoring the decisive kick. Fernando Torres played an important role in the Champions League run, scoring against Barcelona in the semi-final second leg to secure Chelsea’s place in the final. Across the 2011/12 season, Torres made 49 appearances and scored 11 goals in all competitions, including six goals in the Premier League, two in the FA Cup and three in the Champions League. His Champions League goal against Barcelona was his final goal of the competition that season. This football shirt is size Small (S) and is in Excellent condition. It is part of the Chelsea collection at Football Shirt Paradise.

The Fernando Torres name set makes this shirt directly connected to his second full season at Stamford Bridge. In the Premier League, he played 32 matches and scored six goals, while his Champions League record was three goals in ten appearances. His 2011/12 campaign also included the first Champions League title of his career with Chelsea.
