Chelsea’s 2014/15 home shirt comes from the first season of José Mourinho’s second spell in charge of the club. Adidas produced the shirt under style code G92151, with Chelsea’s traditional royal blue used across the body and the Samsung logo on the front. The Hazard 10 name set places the shirt with Eden Hazard, who wore number 10 during the campaign and was one of the central figures in Chelsea’s successful season.
Hazard’s 2014/15 campaign produced 19 goals and 11 assists in all competitions, including 14 goals in the Premier League. Chelsea secured the league title with three matches remaining, eventually finishing eight points clear of Manchester City on 87 points. Hazard scored the goal that confirmed the championship against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge, heading in the only goal of the match. Chelsea also won the League Cup, beating Tottenham Hotspur 2–0 in the final at Wembley. Hazard’s performances earned him the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award as well as Chelsea’s Player of the Year award for the second consecutive season. He also scored three goals in seven Champions League appearances, including two against Maribor.
The Hazard 10 printing makes this shirt directly relevant to one of the defining individual seasons of his Chelsea career. Kept in excellent condition and available in size small, it represents the club’s 2014/15 title-winning era and the final season in which Samsung appeared as Chelsea’s principal shirt sponsor.
