Dallas 2020 Home Shirt

FC Dallas is a professional football club from the United States of America. They were founded in 1995 and are based in the city of Dallas, Texas. The club plays their home games in the Toyota Stadium, with a capacity of more than 20.000. Dallas is amongst the clubs with the most supporters and members in the MLS. Also based in Texas, they share a fierce rivalry with their neighbors Austin FC. Dallas is known for their red home shirts, which are manufactured by Adidas. 

In the 2020 Major League Soccer season, FC Dallas managed to finish in 4th place. Due to the covid lockdown the MLS has not been finished completely. Dallas played a total of 22 games and ended up having 34 points, while scoring 28 goals and conceding 24. The 8th place only played 15 games and was just 6 points behind Dallas. Out of all MLS teams, Dallas played the most games by far, making their 4th place finish controversial. Key players in this 2020 Dallas squad were Jara, Hedges and Ricardo Pepi, who made a big transfer to the Dutch Eredivisie. 

This Dallas 2020 home shirt has a red base with blue horizontal stripes on the bottom. The three Adidas stripes are featured on the right sleeve, which we have not seen before with their shirts. Their front sponsor has been there for quite some years and became part of their iconic home shirts. On the upper back of the shirt is the Texas flag, one of the biggest states in the US.
