Göztepe 2020 Stadium Shirt (M-Mint)

Goztepe S.K. is among Turkey's biggest professional football clubs. They were founded in 1925 and are based in the city of Izmir, a big Turkish city on the Western coast. Goztepe play their home games in the Gürsel Aksel Stadium, with a capacity of more than 20.000. They have won the Turkish Cup 2 times and the Supercup 1 times, making them a successful side in Turkey, as not many teams apart from the big three have won major titles in Turkey. 

In the 2020/21 season, Goztepe managed to finish 10th in the Turkish Super Lig; a somewhat disappointing season as they fell out of the European competition spots. In 40 games, they ended up with 51 points and 13 wins. They scored many goals (59) for a side that finished in 10th place, but also conceded many (59), which gave them a goal difference of 0. 

The Goztepe 2020 Stadium shirt was made for the opening of the new Gursel Aksel stadium. The total construction of the new stadium took more than 3 years. Work continued day and night to try and finish it as fast as possible. The shirt is made out of cotton, which makes it not feel like a traditional football shirt that is normally made from polyester. On the lower right of the shirt is a small tag with a design of the new stadium. Goztepe normally wears beige/yellow and red kits, just like their badge colors, and whit this shirt they made just that. It seems to be a home shirt but is rather a tribute to their stadium. The shirt wasn't worn in an official match and comes in size medium (M) and mint condition, which means it is as new. 758799-01 is the style code for this special Puma shirt, in honor of the Gursel Aksel stadium in Izmir, home of Goztepe S.K.
