Kaizer Chiefs returned to Kappa for the 2023/24 season, marking the first time the Italian sportswear brand supplied the club’s kit since their previous partnership ended in 1996. The home shirt is predominantly gold with black detailing and features a broken zigzag pattern across the body. The pattern was based on a design Kappa used for the Kaizer Chiefs home shirt in the 1992/93 season. The shirt has a black section at the front of the round collar, while the raglan sleeves are predominantly plain gold. Kappa branding appears on the right chest and sleeves, the Kaizer Chiefs crest is on the left chest, Vodacom is the main sponsor and Toyota appears on the left sleeve.
The 2023/24 kit was officially unveiled on 25 July 2023 and was released on 26 July. It was introduced under the club’s “Khosified” campaign, with the home design specifically created around Kaizer Chiefs’ gold and black identity and its history. Kappa and Kaizer Chiefs originally worked together from 1989 to 1996, a period in which the club won 12 trophies. The 2023/24 campaign was the first time Kaizer Chiefs wore Kappa kits during the Premier Soccer League era. The club competed in the South African Premiership, with home matches played at venues including FNB Stadium, Peter Mokaba Stadium and Moses Mabhida Stadium. This shirt is size Medium and is in Very Good condition.
