Liverpool 2021/22 Pre-Match Shirt

This Liverpool 2021/22 pre match shirt was produced by Nike and was worn by the players during the warm up before Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup matches. Instead of using Liverpool's traditional plain red colours, Nike designed the shirt with narrow horizontal hoops in black, gold and dark red across the entire body and sleeves. The club crest and Nike swoosh are both finished in white, matching the details on Liverpool's 2021/22 home shirt. The 2021/22 season became one of the closest Liverpool have ever come to winning an unprecedented quadruple. Jürgen Klopp's side won both the EFL Cup and the FA Cup, defeating Chelsea on penalties in both finals after two goalless draws. Liverpool finished second in the Premier League with 92 points, just one point behind Manchester City after losing the title race on the final day of the season. In the UEFA Champions League, Liverpool reached their third final in five years but were beaten 1-0 by Real Madrid in Paris. The club played every possible match available that season, a total of 63 competitive fixtures, making it one of the longest and most successful campaigns in Liverpool's history despite narrowly missing out on both the Premier League and Champions League trophies.
