This Netherlands 2022/23 home shirt comes in size small (S) and is in excellent condition. It has some bobbles and a few tiny pulls across the shirt. Nike manufactured the shirt for the Dutch national team and used DN0694-845 as the style code. The familiar orange base has a subtle tonal pattern inspired by a lion's mane, while the black Nike Swoosh and KNVB crest give the shirt a clean contrast. It was the home shirt used by the Netherlands at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Louis van Gaal's team finished top of Group A after beating Senegal and Qatar and drawing with Ecuador. They then defeated the United States 3–1 in the last 16, setting up a quarter-final against Argentina. The Dutch came back from 2–0 down thanks to two goals from Wout Weghorst, but Argentina eventually won the match on penalties.
Cody Gakpo was one of the Netherlands' standout players during the tournament, scoring in all three group matches against Senegal, Ecuador and Qatar. Memphis Depay, Frenkie de Jong and Virgil van Dijk were also important members of the squad. The Nike shirt therefore comes from the World Cup campaign in which the Netherlands reached the quarter-finals before being eliminated by the eventual champions.
