The shirt was worn during a season that became one of the most successful in PSG's history. The club were awarded the Ligue 1 title after the competition was stopped early, having been 12 points clear at the top of the table. They then went on to win both the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue, completing a domestic quadruple that also included the Trophée des Champions.
In Europe, things were even more memorable as PSG reached the Champions League final for the first time. After overcoming Borussia Dortmund, Atalanta and RB Leipzig, they met Bayern Munich in the final in Lisbon. Bayern won 1–0 through a Kingsley Coman goal, but the run marked the first time PSG had reached the final of Europe's biggest club competition.
