PSG 2020/21 Away Shirt

In the season prior to this one, PSG had managed to go all the way to the Champions League final. The club from Paris, the capital of France, was taken over by Qatari investors who brought endless money to the club, which they used on big transfers and investments in their facilities. Neymar jr and Mbappe were the absolute stars in this PSG era, where they dominated the French Ligue 1 but were still unable to win the Champions League. 

In the 2020/21 season Paris Saint-Germain had to rebuild and strengthen their squad. The squad depth was not good enough and the team relied to much on injury prone and inconsistent players. They brought in Mauro Icardi, Moise Kean and Rafinha. In Ligue 1 PSG did not win the league for the first time in almost a decade. Lille won the league with a total of 83 points, only 1 more than PSG. In 38 games Paris lost 8 and also conceded 28 goals, which was simply too many to be crowned Ligue 1 winner. After this failure of a season, PSG started a massive project to bring the Champions League to Paris in the next 5 years, and they did not disappoint. 

This PSG 2020/21 away shirt comes with a white base and a red, wide and vertical stripe in the middle of the shirt. A concept that we have seen earlier at the club. The blue collar completes PSG's club colors and makes the shirt look complete. The iconic ALL front sponsor was still there for a couple season. For this shirt, Nike decided to use their new 2020/21 template with button collar. It was a success as it was one of the most sold shirts from Nike in the 2020/21 season. The shirt comes in size small (S) and excellent condition, as the shirt has creased a little and the inner label is missing.
