PSV 2013/14 Away Shirt

PSV Eindhoven is one of three massive clubs from the Netherlands. They were founded in 1913 and are based in the city of Eindhoven, in the lower part of the country. The club plays their home games in the Philips Stadion, with a capacity of 35.000. The club was founded by and for employees from Philips, that's why the name is ''Philips Sport Vereniging'' and it is still their main sponsor and stadium name. This shirt is made for their 100th anniversary, where they decided to add gold to this special shirt. 

In the 2013/14 Eredivisie season, PSV managed to finish in 4th place. They played a total of 34 games and ended up having 59 points. Their two main rivals finished above them, frustrating in such a symbolic season. Despite their quite unsuccessful Eredivisie season, the squad started to develop and age. Most of them were brought in from their youth academy. PSV would win lots of silverware in the coming years. Key players in this inexperienced PSV squad were Wijnaldum, Ji-Sung Park and Memphis Depay.
