After once again winning the Champions League, Real Madrid looked better than ever. Despite key players such as Marcelo, Bale, Isco and Casemiro leaving the club, Los Blancos still had the most valuable squad on earth. They strengthened theirselves in the summer with Tchouameni and Rudiger. The 2022/23 season would be a difficult one for Real Madrid. They couldn't win LaLiga because of Xavi's Barca and also didn't win the Champions League as Man City won it. Real didn't go trophyless as they won Copa del Rey after beating some of Spain's biggest clubs. Vinicius Junior had a good individual season. He scored 23 goals and made 20 assists in 55 games in all competitions. He was slowly becoming one of Real Madrid's key players.
