SPAL 2021/22 Third Shirt

The midnight blue SPAL 2021/22 third shirt has a graphic that refers directly to the club's modern history. Macron placed a starry night design across the lower part of the shirt, with the number “2013” incorporated into the pattern. The year represents the rebirth of SPAL and the start of a new sporting project after the club's financial problems. The shirt has a V neck with silver knitted edging, matching silver sleeve details, while the Macron logo and SPAL crest are placed on the chest. This SPAL 2021/22 third shirt comes in size small (S) and mint condition. 

SPAL played the 2021/22 season in Serie B and finished 15th with 42 points from 38 matches. They recorded 9 wins, 15 draws and 14 defeats, scoring 46 goals and conceding 54. Their Coppa Italia campaign ended in the first round with a 2-1 defeat against Benevento. Salvatore Esposito was one of the team's regular midfielders, appearing in 35 league matches and starting 26 of them. The 20 year old scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists. Marco Mancosu also made 34 appearances and finished as SPAL's joint top scorer in Serie B with 6 goals, level with Lorenzo Colombo. 

The “2013” reference is particularly relevant because SPAL's return to professional football began after the club was re-established as S.P.A.L. 2013. The new organisation entered Serie D for the 2013/14 season and reached Serie B in 2016, followed by promotion to Serie A in 2017. SPAL then spent three seasons in Italy's top division from 2017/18 to 2019/20, before returning to Serie B. Macron described the stars on the third shirt as representing the players, staff, youth teams, women's team and supporters who contributed to the club's revival, with the individual stars forming a single SPAL constellation.
