Vitesse 2020/21 Away Shirt

The Vitesse Arnhem 2020/21 away shirt was produced by Nike and features a blue base with a geometric pattern woven into the fabric. Unlike Vitesse's traditional yellow and black home shirts, the away shirt takes inspiration from the blue found in the coat of arms of the city of Arnhem. The 2020/21 season was one of Vitesse's strongest in recent years under head coach Thomas Letsch. The club finished fourth in the Eredivisie with 61 points, their highest league finish since 2017/18, and qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League play off round. Vitesse also reached the KNVB Cup final for the second time in five seasons, but lost 2-1 to Ajax in Rotterdam after taking an early lead through Loïs Openda. The Belgian striker finished the season with 13 goals in all competitions during his loan spell from Club Brugge, while Oussama Tannane contributed 9 goals and 15 assists, making him one of the Eredivisie's most productive attacking midfielders. Goalkeeper Remko Pasveer also had an outstanding campaign before earning a move to Ajax later that summer.

Vitesse have represented the city of Arnhem since 1892, making them one of the oldest professional football clubs in the Netherlands. The club has played at GelreDome since 1998, a stadium with a retractable roof and sliding pitch that was one of the most modern football venues in Europe when it opened.
