Lionel Messi and his Argentina side started the tournament on a winning streak but got knocked out in the round of 16 by France, who went on to win the tournament. Lionel Messi managed to score one goals and made 2 assists in the 2018 World Cup. He would come back four years later to get his revenge on France. This 2018 Argentina home shirt was really loved by shirt collectors as it was featured in Adidas' retro kits, bringing back nostalgia and old World Cup shirts. It also has the unique Argentinian vertical blue-and-white striped on it.
