Cameroon 2016/17 Home Shirt (S-Excellent)

The Cameroon national team in among Africa's most successful countries based of AFCON campaigns and big players produced. Cameroon has won the Africa Cup of Nations 5 times in total, just 2 less than number 1 Egypt. Most of these wins were from the era of Samuel Eto'o, Cameroon's most iconic football player and national hero. After his career as a player, he got to work for the Cameroon national team as president. The central African country is known for having some of the most iconic football shirts in their history. For example their banned shirt without sleeves, or their kit with shirt and shorts stitched together. 

This Cameroon 2016/17 home shirt was worn during the 2016 Africa Cup of Nations. Cameroon was placed in a group with DR Congo, Angola and Ethiopia. After topping their group with a total of 7 points, they got eliminated in the quarter-finals of the tournament by Ivory Coast, who went on to finish 3rd. The shirt was worn by some great players that were active in Europe, such as Vincent Aboubakar, Choupo-Moting and Toko Ekambi. 

Many small details in this shirt refer to the countries rich culture and inhabitants. The lion badge is placed next to the Puma logo, as it is the country's national animal. Their partnership with Puma as manufacturers was really successful; they made many popular shirts and brought Cameroon back to the top of African football after some difficult years. Puma uses 748487 as the style code for this shirt, made to check the authenticity of the shirt. The shirt comes in size small (S) and excellent condition. The only imperfections are some small bobbles on the back of the shirt and minor loose stitching on the inside of the collar.
