Player version football shirts are the authentic performance shirts designed for professional players. Made by manufacturers such as Nike, Adidas, Puma and Kappa, these shirts use advanced fabrics and construction techniques that distinguish them from standard fan versions. They are official products, also sold to supporters through club stores and manufacturer retailers, and are designed with the demands of top-level football in mind.
What makes player version shirts different?
The main difference is the material. Player version shirts feature a lightweight fabric with a specialized texture designed to improve breathability during intense physical activity. Logos and badges are often heat-pressed rather than embroidered, helping to reduce weight and create a closer fit. They also have their own style code, which differs from the corresponding fan version. These details make player version jerseys particularly interesting for collectors who appreciate the technical side of modern football shirts, or want to wear them for the best possible performance.
Player version does not mean match issue or match worn. The shirts in this collection are official player version products, but they have not necessarily been prepared for or used in an official match. They are designed to replicate the performance specifications of the shirts worn by players on the pitch, while remaining available to the general public.
The player version collection
Every shirt in this collection is an original product, not an unofficial replica.
